Obituary of Irene Rivas Reedy

Our beloved Irene Rivas Reedy, age 63, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, January 5, 2018.

Irene was preceded in death by her loving parents: Rafael & Ascencion Rivas; brother, Ralph Rivas Jr. and Daniel Rivas.

She is survived by her sons, Aaron Rivas and wife Karen Mendoza, KC Garcia and Stephanie Martinez, and Steven Reedy; brother, Joe Rivas; sisters Gloria Galvan, Maria Luisa Pastrano, Angie Balandran, and Linda Gonzales; Grandchildren, 8 and with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10. 2018 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:30 p.m., at the Los Angeles Funeral Home on 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church….624 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas.  Rev. Father Jairo Lopez will officiate.  Memorial Celebration will be celebrated at a later date.
