Obituary of Anita Perales

Our beloved Anita Perales, age 59, resident of Kyle, with her loving family surrounding and  embracing her,  was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 14, 2018.Anita was preceded in death by her father: Manuel G. Hernandez Sr.

Anita was a fun and caring person with her family and friends. Her four legged companion, “DUKE” was her precious, always with her and David. Anita like taking photos of everyone and anything, especially when the holidays came around, the house would come alive for all relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends. Don’t be surprised if you would receive a card during these times. Anita loved making those special cards for those occasions. It was very relaxing for her to be outside gardening in the yard. In the spring time, Anita looked forward when the “red birds” cardinals would return to nest and feed.  Anita had some collections, if you were a pig! If it was stuffed, figurine, bottled, painted, mechanical, wooden, …etc, Anita had it in her collection. We will miss you so much. Our love will go with you to keep you warm and your love will stay with us to always remember. Now we know what an Angel is all about.  

She is survived by her loving husband of 12yrs., David Perales of Kyle; mother, Rafaela R. Hernandez of San Marcos; sisters, Adelina Flores and husband Herman of San Marcos, Lucia Hernandez of San Marcos, and Teresa Fontaney and husband John of San Marcos; brothers, Manuel R. Hernandez Jr. and wife Abelee “Lita” of Austin, Elias Hernandez of San Marcos, Fernando Hernandez and wife Yolanda of San Marcos, and Alfredo Hernandez of Pflugerville; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2018 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at the Los Angeles Funeral Home on 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church….624 E. Hopkins … San Marcos, Texas.  Rev. Father Jairo Lopez will officiate.  Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in, Martindale, Texas.

Serving as Pallbearers: Danny Perales, Daniel Hernandez, Jeffery Flores, Cristian Hernandez, Carlos Rodriguez, and Juliano Hernandez.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers: Ruben Rodriguez, John Manuel Fontaney, Brandon Flores, Carlos Rodriguez Jr., Noah Hernandez, and Joe Gonzales.
