Obituary of Juan De Dios Rodriguez

Our beloved Juan De Dios Rodriguez, age 89, resident of Kyle was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 15, 2018.

Juan was preceded in death by his sons: Ascencion Rodriguez, Theodoro Rodriguez, Jose Angel Rodriguez, and Jose Rodriguez Sr., daughter: Maria Elena Rodriguez, grandchildren: Roxanne Michelle Rodriguez, and Julia Marie Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Jayden Sanchez; great, great grandchild, Baby Angel; parents: Concepcion & Hilaria Rodriguez, brothers: Jose Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez Sr. & Alvino Rodriguez, and sister: Janie Torres.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66yrs., Genoveva C. Rodriguez of Maxwell; sons, Johnny Rodriguez of Austin, Pablo Rodriguez of Pflugerville, Acencion Rodriguez of Martindale, and Jesse Rodriguez of San Marcos; daughters, Trinidad Alvarez of Niederwald, Dominga Sanchez, of Niederwald, Santos Rodriguez of Creedmore, Rosa Rodriguez of Lockhart, Guadalupe Alvarez of Maxwell, and Luisa Robledo of Buda; brother, Pedro Rodriguez of Kyle, Jaime Rodriguez of San Marcos; sisters, Catarina Juarez of San Antonio, Irene Carrizales of NE, Paula Torres of Kyle, Frances Prado of AZ, Antonia Martinez of Kyle, Josephina Rodriguez of Buda, and Maria Ancira of Oak Hill; grandchildren: 30, great grandchildren: 45 and with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Sunday, January 21, 2018 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at the Los Angeles Funeral Home on 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Morning Visitation will begin at 8:30am, Monday, January 22, 2018 at St. Michaels Catholic Church …80 S. Old Spanish Trail … Uhland, Texas with Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 a.m.  Rev. Father Rafael Padilla will officiate.  Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in, Reedville, Texas.

Serving as Pallbearers: Anthony Sanchez, Jose Rodriguez Jr., Ascension Rodriguez Jr., Jesse Ray Hipolito Jr., and Juan Rodriguez, and Duane Rodriguez.

The family would like to thank Dr. Raul Rodriguez from ARC Kyle for all his help in caring for our dad all these years.
