Obituary of Rufina R. Vasquez

Our beloved Rufina R. Vasquez, age 95, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Eusebio Vasquez; parents: Francisco & Juanita Ramirez; brother, Francisco “Kiko” Ramirez; sisters, Ana Ramirez, Frances R. Munoz, and Eustolia R. Barrera; son in law, Edward Perez Sr..and granddaughter, Melissa A. Vasquez..

She is survived by her daughters, Maria J. Perez, Irene Gonzales and husband Zeke; sons, Rick Vasquez and wife Gracie, Robert “Bob” Vasquez and wife Josie; brothers, Ventura Ramirez, Marcelo Ramirez; grandchildren, 10; great grandchildren, 20, great, great grandchildren, 3 and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 4:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at the Los Angeles Funeral Home on 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at St. John Catholic Church….624 E. Hopkins. … San Marcos, Texas.  Rev. Father Rafael Padilla will officiate.  Interment will follow in San Marcos City Cemetery in San Marcos, Texas.
