Obituary of Maria Guerrero

Our beloved Maria Guerrero, age 87, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Felipe Guerrero; son, Phillip Guerrero; daughter, Guadalupe Guerrero; parents, Jose & Gregoria DeLuna; brothers, Felipe, DeLuna & Louis DeLuna,; special companinon, Juan Villegas.

She is survived by her son, Deacon Jorge Guerrero Sr. & wife Yolanda; daughter, Carmen Pardo & husband Robert; brothers, Frank DeLuna & fiancé Mary Ann Palma, and Richard DeLuna & wife Margarita; half brother, Lupe Thomas Garcia & wife Adela; sisters, Isabel Garcia, Margie Samaniego & husband Misael, Anita Rodriguez and husband Julian Sr., and Ramona Gonzales and husband Gilbert; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and with other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin from 2:00p.m – 4:00 p.m , Sunday, June 24, 2018 ...at the Los Angeles Funeral Home ... 300 Cheatham St. ... San Marcos, Texas., Visitation will resume from 6:00pm-9:00pm with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church ...  624 Hopkins … San Marcos, Texas.   Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday,June 25, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Rev. Father Rafael Padilla will officiate.  Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in, Martindale, Texas.
