Obituary of David Antonio Gonzales

Our beloved David Antonio Gonzales, age 44, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 28, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Antonio & Margarita Rojas.

David was a caring, loving, and kind-hearted man.  He loved unconditionally and would do anything for anyone.  Surrounded by his family, David passed peacefully with two of his favorite songs playing in the background, “I will rise you” by Chris Tomlin, and “Cinderella” by Steven Curtis Chapman. We will cherish many memories of him.   We thank Jesus for giving him to us for as long as we had him..."we love you!" His legacy and spirit, will always continue through us, we will miss you, but will never be forgotten in our hearts.

He is survived by his mother, Gloria R. Castillo; brother, Rudy Gonzales Jr.; sister, Monica M. Castillo; and with numerous cousins & other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018 with Prayer Service held at 6:00 p.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas.   Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Catholic Church on 624 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas. …..     Rev. Father John Boiko will officiate.  Interment will follow in San Juan Cemetery in Reedville, Texas.
