Obituary of Edward G. Hernandez Sr.

Our beloved Edward G. Hernandez Sr., age 67, resident of Maxwell was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Meregildo & Eustacia Medina; brother, Ricardo Medina; and sister; Micaela M. Torres.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27yrs., Sara Elias;   sons, Edward Hernandez Jr. & wife Valorie, Ernest Hernandez, Domingo Mata Jr. and wife Norma, and Jose Leon Lopez;   daughters, Leslie H. Lawler, Manuela Pasarya & husband Hanif, Josie Cruz & husband Thomas, Carol Lopez & Daniel Barrera, Melida Flores, Araselia Perez & Ruben, Melissa Lopez, Enedina De la Garza & husband Joel, and Esmeralda Mata & Jeff Delgado   6 grandchildren;   3 great grandchildren and with many more grandchildren other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin 4:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2018 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas.  Morning Visitation: will begin Tuesday, July 24, 2018 starting at 8:30am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church … 312 Lockhart Street … Martindale, Texas. followed with  Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 a.m.  … Rev. Father Rafael Padilla will officiate. Concluding services Full Military Honors will be conducted outside the church.
