Obituary of Olga Mercado

Our beloved Maria Olga Mercado, age 74, resident of Maxwell was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, September 17, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Ramon & Juana Martinez; brother, Guadalupe Martinez.

She is survived by her loving husband of 7yrs., David Mercado; daughters, Berenice Martinez Cardoza & husband Juan Manuel, Frances Mendoza & James, and Susie Martinez & Luis Mendoza; sons, Eladio Martinez, and Juan Carlos Martinez & wife Desiree; brothers, Felipe Martinez, and Manuel Martinez; sisters, Maria de Rosario Martinez, and Eluteria Martinez; 22 grandchild; 5 great grandchildren; and with many more other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin 5:30p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2018 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 1:30 pm. Friday, September 21, 2018 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church … 312 Lockhart Street … Martindale, Texas … Rev. Father John Boiko will officiate.  Interment will follow in San Juan Cemetery in Reedville, Texas.
