Obituary of Macario Suarez

Our beloved Macario Suarez, age 69, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, October 12, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Macario Sr. & Seferina Suarez; and brothers: Antonio Suarez & Frances Suarez..

He is survived by his daughter, Priscilla Suarez & Erik Almaraz of Austin, Tx; sons, Macario Suarez III & Lori of San Marcos, Tx, David Suarez & Jacklyn of Austin, Tx, Michael Suarez & Mary Jane Rodriguez of San Marcos, Tx., and Ricky Suarez & Crystal of Kyle, Tx; brother, Augustine Suarez of San Marcos, Tx.; sisters, Lupe Lopez, and Paula Cordero of San Marcos, Tx.; 16 grandchild; 6 great grandchildren; and with many more other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin 4:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2018 with a Wake held at 7:00 p.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas.  Chapel Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Los Angeles Funeral Home Chapel …  Brother Jim Wittenburg will officiate.  Interment will follow in San Juan Cemetery in Reedville, Texas.

You’re looking at his picture.  That handsome face.  That strong physique.  His winning smile.As you hold the photo in your hands, the pain in your heart is magnified.  You see in that familiar, loving face the pain of what you’ve lost.  How could someone so healthy, so strong, be gone?  Oh, but look closer, My child.  See what I see---a life well lived.  A person of great worth who graced your life with laughter, conversation, love, and warmth.  Let that sink in.  The photo you’re holding in your hand is a reminder of the great blessing your loved one was to so many.  Wasn’t he one of the greatest people to ever walk the face of the earth?  Didn’t he bless people everywhere he went?  Weren’t you fortunate to have him in your life?  Your loved one was My gift to many.  And now, as you reflect on all of his goodness, it’s time to look at his many good traits in perspective.  Take them on yourself.  Become the person he would want you to be.  This will be your gift back to him and to the many people you have yet to bless in your own life.
