Obituary of Raymond Luera

Our beloved Raymond Luera, age 63, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, October 29, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Pablo Sr. & Antonia Luera; sister, Celia Trevino; and nephew, John Paul Trevino.

He is survived by his sisters, Sylvia Sanders and Laura Luera; brothers; Paul Luera Jr. & wife Eva, and Joe Luera & wife Margie; brother in law, Richard Trevino Sr.; nephews, Richard Trevino Jr., Jose Luera Jr., and Alex Camacho Jr.; nieces, Stacey Luera Martinez, Iris Velasquez, and Lorraine Rodriguez and with many more other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin 5:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2018 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church … 312 Lockhart Street … Martindale, Texas … Rev. Father Rafael Padilla will officiate.  Interment will follow in San Juan Cemetery in Prairie Lea, Texas.

Serving as Pallbearers: Richard Trevino Jr., Alex Camacho Jr., Jose Luera Jr.,Rene Velasquez, Carl Teague, and Ruben Lopez..
