Our beloved Maria Elena Alvarado, age 61, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Maria was preceded in death by her loving father, Jose Alvarado; sister, Dora Alvarado; paternal grandparents, Secundino & Dorotea Alvarado; and maternal grandparents, Jesus & Andrea De Lira. She is survived by her daughters, Marisol Alvarado, and Sasha Nycole Deleon and husband Rodrigo; mother, Estela Alvarado; grandchildren, Lyla Nycole DeLeon, Lynn Grace DeLeon, and Rodrigo Dimas DeLeon Jr.; sisters, Maria del Consuelo Perez and husband Lucas, Maria Juanita Alvarado, Sylvia Aguilar and husband Jose, Rosa Maria Trujillo and husband Emilio, Margot Delgado and husband Lucio, Marilu Aguilar and husband Juan, and Olga Alvarado and Raymundo Roque; brothers, Joel Alvarado and wife Aida, Jose Carlos Alvarado, Secundino Alvarado, and Jesus Alvarado and wife Teresa; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2016 with a Prayer Service held at 7:00 p.m., Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Church Service will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Centro Cristiano Nueva Vida, 1101 High Rd., Kyle, Texas. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
