Obituary of Hortencia Pardo

Our beloved Hortencia Pardo, age 85, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. 

 She is preceded in death by her loving parents: Reyes & Reyes M. Pardo; sister, Paula Mendoza; and brother, Louis Pardo.

She is survived by her sisters: Ana Pardo, Manuela P Perez & husband Jose, and Maria Pardo; sister in law, Oralia R. Pardo; brothers; Patricio Pardo and wife Graciela, Cruz Pardo and wife Mary Louise, and Domingo Pardo and wife Ann; and with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many more loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 624 E. Hopkins … San Marcos, Texas. Rev. Father John Boiko will officiate..  Interment will follow in San Marcos City Cemetery in San Marcos, Texas.

Serving as Pallbearers: Patricio Pardo, Cruz Pardo, Domingo Pardo, Louis Anthony Pardo, Robert Tijernia, and Juan Gonzales.
