Our beloved Melissa Hernandez Barrientos, age 41, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 23, 2016.
Melissa was preceded in death by her loving father, Paul Hernandez; maternal grandparents, Juan & Janie Rodriguez; paternal grandparents, Alejandro & Virginia Hernandez; uncles, Ruben Rodriguez, Frank Torres, Adam Torres, Robert Torres, Chavelo Rodriguez; and aunt, Marilena Rodriguez.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Rafael Barrientos; son, Matthew Hernandez; daughters, Briana Barrientos, Marisol Barrientos, Jasmin Barrientos; mother, Gloria Valdez; brothers, John Paul Hernandez, Michael Hernandez, Paul Hernandez Jr.; and sisters, Michelle Torres and Connie Hernandez; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:30 p.m., Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 624 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, Texas. Interment will follow at Maria De La Luz Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
