Obituary of Petronilo Espinosa Sr.

Our beloved Petronilo “Nilo” Espinosa Sr., age 100, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. 

 He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 77yrs., Aurora Contreras Espinoza; daughter, Angelita Espinosa; parents, Augustine & Estefana Espinosa; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his sons, Augustine Espinosa Sr., Enrique Espinoza Sr., and Petronilo “Pete” Espinoza Jr. & Velia; daughters, Carmen Espinoza- Villalpando & Jonas, Olga Espinoza-Castaneda & Robert Lee, Silvia Espinoza, and Rosa Espinoza-Sanso & Chris; grandchildren, 19; great grandchildren, 43; great, great grandchildren, 13; and many more loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm. – 4:30 p.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas.  Continued Visitation will begin at 6:00pm – 9:00pm with Recitation of Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00pm at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00am, Monday, April 1, 2019  at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.    Rev. Father Jairo Lopez will officiate... Interment will follow in Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
