Obituary of Dora T. Hurtado

Our beloved Dora T. Hurtado, age 91, resident of Maxwell, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 22, 2019. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 yrs., Ernesto Hurtado Sr.; parents, Abraham & Margarita Teneyuque; brothers, Abran Teneyuque, and Beto Teneyuque; sisters, Martina Perez, and Leonor Alvarado.

She is survived by her sisters Elvira Dominguez and LaLa Yanez; brother Jesse Teneyuque; daughters Rachel Cisneros, Delia Soto and husband Eduardo, Mary Garcia and husband George, and Maggie Hurtado; son, Ernesto Hurtado Jr. and wife Martha; grandchildren, Peter Guerrero (Jeanette), Jonathan Selvera, Stephanie Reyes (Andrew), Minnie Hurtado, Saundra Polanco (Jason), Lawrence Cisneros, Nicole Rios (Ryan), Ernie Hurtado, and Abraham Almaraz; great grandchildren, Arianna Elizabeth Polanco, Andres Reyes, Gabriela Reyes, Majorie Guerrero, Olivia Polanco, Gunner Polanco, Jayden Cisneros, Camilla Rios, and Ernie Hurtado Jr.; and with many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 624 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas. Rev. Father Raphael Padilla will officiate. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
