Obituary of Juanita "Janie" Vara

Our beloved Juanita “Janie” Vara, age 85, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Hector Vara Sr.; son, Hector Vara Jr.; parents, Francisco Sr. & Florencia Natal; sisters, Teresa N. Gutierrez, Lola  N. Estrada, and Inez N. Alonzo; brother, Antonio Natal.

She is survived by her sisters, Petra N. Garcia, Nacha N. Carrasco, Rita N. Sanchez, and Carmen N. Sepulveda; brothers, Frank Natal Jr., and Raymond Natal; and with many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Visitation will continue from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at Sinai Pentecostal Church … 208 Laredo St. … San Marcos, TX with a Prayer Service starting at 7:00pm.  On Monday, May 6, 2019 visitation will begin at 8:30am in the Sinai Pentecostal Church with a Church Service starting at 10:00 a.m.  Rev. Samuel Montoya will officiate. Interment will follow in Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
