Obituary of Eriberto "Beto" M. De Leon Sr.

Our beloved Eriberto M. De Leon Sr., age 87, resident of Kyle, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 5, 2019. 

He is preceded in death by his loving wife: Minerva De Leon; daughter, Maria Guadalupe Alejandro Munoz Deleon- de la Cruz, son, Cristobal Alejandro Munoz De Leon; parents, Moises & Manuela De Leon; brothers, Alvaro De Leon, and Oscar De Leon.

Eriberto retired from UT of Austin and was a very humble man who was dedicated to his Catholic Faith, He brought a lot of people to God.  He also was involved in a Spanish Choir that would pray the Holy Rosary at homes and at funerals for a lot of the parishioners of St. Anthony's Catholic Church..But at the end of the day nothing meant more to him than his family.  Dad, we thank you for the Love and for all the Spiritual Values that you instilled in us ....... "we love you!" until we meet again.  

His life contnues through his son, Heriberto Alejandro Munoz De Leon Jr. and wife Mary Elizabeth De Leon; daughters, Mary Stella Esquivel and husband Guillermo Esquivel, and Elva De Leon-Sierra  and husband Rene Sierra; brother, Juan Munoz De Leon; sister, Minerva Munoz De Leon Alvarado; grandchildren, 9; great grandchildren, 11; and with many more loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2019 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 11, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 801 N. Burleson …  Kyle, Texas.  Rev. Father Uche Andeh will officiate. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
