Our beloved Dora L. Vasquez, age 64, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, January 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolpho Sr. & Maria Longoria; sister, Irene Puentes, Georgia Ortunio, Aurora Garza, Mary Munos, Fidela Vasquez and Maria Longoria; brothers, Aldopho Longoria Jr., Juan Longoria, and Pete Longoria. Dora, a devoted wife , mother and grandmother was immensely devoted to her beloved family and friends. If she wasn’t in the kitchen cooking for anyone and everyone, she was outside gardening and tending the roses she adored. She had strong faith in her relationship with God and regularly attended St. John’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 40yrs., Fidel Vasquez Sr.; daughters, Nancy Vasquez, Donna Vasquez & Randy Mendoza, Pamela Rodriguez & Randy and Tori Vasquez; sons, Guillermo Longoria, Moses Longoria, and Fidel Vasquez Jr.; brothers, Luis Longoria, Jimmy Longoria, Andres Longoria, and Herculano Longoria; sisters, Chrisencia Zavala, Margie Herrera, and Victoria Vasquez; grandchildren, 24, great grandchildren 1; and with other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 4:00p.m - 9:00p.m., Monday, January 20, 2020 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church … 624 E. Hopkins … San Marcos, Texas. Rev. Father Jairo Lopez will officiate.
