Our beloved Esmeralda Santellana, age 73, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, July 17, 2020. Esmeralda was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Sr. & Estella Guardiola; brothers, Pedro Guardiola Jr. & Infant brother Daniel Guardiola; brother in law, Armando Jimenez; and nephew, Paul Serrano. Esmeralda retired in 1996 from SMCISD School Cafeteria where she made many long lasting friendships. She was a lover of plants and music. Her pastime was spent enjoying casino gambling with her sister Alice and she enjoyed sitting outdoors listening to music with her sister Pinky. But nothing mattered more to her then spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her husband of 54yrs.: Ricardo Santellana Sr.; daughters, Melba Garcia (Edward) and Minerva Santellana (William Williams); son, Richard Santellana Jr. (Sirena); sisters, Alice Serrano (Pete) and Emma Guardiola, and Irene Jimenez; sister in law, Jesusa Guardiola; grandchildren, Vanessa Garcia, Jeffrey Garcia, Edward Curtis Garcia (Marissa), Maricela Johnson (Jeremy), Daniela Rodriguez, Brian Garcia (Pricilla Manyseng), Frank Rodriguez III, Ricardo Santellana III, Madalynn Santellana, and Katherine Santellana; great grandchildren, Alexie Mendez, Khloe Gonzalez, Kaylie Gonzalez, Mya Johnson, Teo Garcia, Grayson Garcia, Troy Mateos, Anthony Curtis Garcia, and Sophia Padilla; and with other loving family and friends.
