Our beloved Genoveva Rodriguez, age 86, resident of Maxwell, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 20, 2020. Genoveva was preceded in death by her loving husband: Juan de Dios Rodriguez; sons: Jose Rodriguez Sr., Jose Angel Rodriguez, Ancencion Rodriguez and Isidoro Rodriguez; daughter: Maria Elena Rodriguez; great grandson: Jayden Nathaniel Sanchez; and granddaughter: Julia Rodriguez. Mrs. Genoveva Rodriguez a loving, strong sweet, hard home keeper, who loved her soap operas. She will be remembered and truly missed by all her loving family. She always loved family gatherings especially our Family tradition of gatherings for Easter, Thanksgiving, Tamales and Christmas. And of course we will never forget her beans and tortillas and Saturday hamburgers. She loved her children and grandchildren, was the best baby sitter to all her grand children. She knew how to make us laugh with her silliness, yes we had our tough moments with the dementia (your baths, stockings and dresses) but afterwards laughed about it. You don't have to look for dad anymore, y'all are together again! We love you Mom! She is survived by her daughters: Trinidad Alvarez (Roy), Dominga Sanchez (Martin), Santos Rodriguez (Oswaldo Guerrero), Rosa Rodriguez (Mark Stepp), Louisa Robledo (Martin) and Guadalupe Alvarez (Marcos); sons, Johnny Rodriguez (Clara), Pablo Rodriguez (Ruth), Ancencion Rodriguez (Augustina), and Jesus Rodriguez; grandchildren: 30, great grandchildren: 46; great, great grandchildren: 2 ; and with numerous loving family members and friends.
