Our beloved Raynaldo "Ray" Rodriguez, age 85, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents: Pedro & Francisca Rodriguez; brothers: Pedro Rodriguez Jr. and Steven Rodriguez; sisters: Fella Alvarado, Beatrice Rodriguez and Eva Machado. Ray was born into a loving family of 8 and was filled with so much love for all 85 years of his life. Ray started working when he was at the age of 14, and made sure to instill his work ethic in anyone who he may have crossed paths with. He started off with construction, from there he went to work for Texas Educational Foundation/Gary Job Corps center for 27 years, and after his retirement he started working with Gutierrez trucking for 15+ years. From then on Ray enjoyed spending his time traveling with his wife to casinos, spreading his humor to others and most importantly loving his kids/ grandkids. His life continues through his loving wife of 64yrs.: Dora L. Rodriguez; sons: Robert Rodriguez (Sherry) and Ray E. Rodriguez (Lizette); daughter: Velma Doria (John); brother: Arturo Rodriguez; sister: Eloisa Contreras; grandchildren: Peggy Lynn Lee, Robbie Rodriguez, John Albert Doria, Olga Danielle Doria, Brittany Angello, Bethany Juarez, Dorian Rae Doria, Cendra Denea Rodriguez, Brayden Henry Rodriguez and Cienna De Rae Rodriguez; great grandchildren: Thilyn Le, Kobi Le, Braxton Angello and Baylor Angello; and with other loving family members and friends.
