Our beloved Connie Lara., age 70, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 17, 2021.
Connie was preceded in death by her loving parents: Pedro & Dolores Cortez; brother: Tom Cisneros; and sister: Mercy Cortez.
She is survived by her husband of 50yrs.: Raul Lara; brothers: Pedro Cortez Jr. (Adelita), Tony Cortez (Lidia), Ricardo Cortez and Enrique Cortez; dear friend: Esther Villegas; and with other loving family members and friends.
DUE TO COVID-19 ... CERTAIN RULES STILL APPLY … (MASK & GLOVES WILL BE ENFORCED!!) Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2021 with a Chapel Service beginning at 10:30 a.m., at the Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
The family wishes to express a special and heartfelt thank you to Pastors Eloy and Estella Narvaiz for their continued fellowship to our family.
