Our beloved Roland Gaitan, age 55, resident of Kyle, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 18, 2021. Roland was preceded in death by his father: Roberto Gaitan Sr. and brother: Johnny Gaitan. Roland was born in San Antonio, Tx on August 16, 1965 and was a lifelong resident of Kyle, Tx. He graduated at Hays high school in 1984 and met his future wife shortly after. Years later on May 19, 1994 and Oct 21, 2002 respectively, he welcomed his daughter and son, who were the most important part of his life. Roland married his wife on September 12, 1995 and have been together for over 35 years. Roland worked for the City of Austin for 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, was a lover of rock n roll and concerts, he loved cooking and eating food. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. He is survived by his wife 25yrs.: Esmeralda O. Gaitan; son: Roland Gaitan Jr.; daughter: Marissa A. Gaitan ( husband Edgar F. Ruiz); mother : Irene G. Gaitan; brothers: Joe Gaitan, Ricky Gaitan, James Gaitan, Isidro Gaitan and Bobby Gaitan; sister: Delma Duran; and with other loving family members and friends. DUE TO COVID-19 ...
