Arturo was my strength as well as Helen his wife. They are My son's Terry Joseph Cavazos God Parents. After Helen became an Angel I never was told where I could find Arturo( Big Art) to us. I have asked everyone I knew for information nobody knew. It saddens my heart that he left me, without me saying Thank you and until I see you again. My love to the family with prayers and comfort. The last time I talked to him, he told me told he was alone now, Helen had left him. But I rejoice now because he is with his family. Paul was my Heart of Gold. And was Art & Helen. Someone Please contact ..me. Much Love

Our most sincere condolences to the family of this precious man. I got to know Arturo and his wife Helen when they became friends with my parents Vicente & Lola Hernandez. They lived a block away from us on Bishop Street in San Marcos. Our family, my parents, brothers, sisters and children loved both of them very much. They would stop for coffee and visit with us on a daily basis. We enjoyed having conversations and laughing with them. Our children would always see them driving up and would be so excited to see them. Arturo would always give them all a hug and he would joke with them. We lost track of them after my parents moved to Laredo due to my mother's health and they moved out of their rental home on Bishop street. We heard about Helen's passing and we were all saddened about that and it wasn't until recently that my sister told me that she had found out that Arturo was living in a nursing home in San Marcos. We had just recently talked about going to visit him. She had the opportunity to visit with him several months ago. I wasn't able to because I live far from that area. It saddens me to hear of his passing. He was and will always be a special man to our family especially our children. They often speak of him with great respect and love. We will forever cherish those memories. I know that he is now rejoicing with his creator, his family and my parents that were anxiously waiting for his arrival. Until we meet again Arturo. Rest in Paradise sweet man! The Hernandez Family (San Marcos, Tx)
