Our beloved Johnny R. Martinez, age 61, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, February 1, 2021. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents: Alfredo Sr. & Olga Martinez. Our father, Johnny served his community for 32yrs. working for Wal-Mart. He was a strong and loving man, who was always ready to listen and gave the best advice. He never judged anyone. He was very sarcastic and always had the best come backs. Daddy enjoyed his Dallas Cowboys, grilling, drinking bud light and listening to music. He will always be remembered by his son n law, because he was always telling him that everything he did was wrong, but nothing meant more to him than spending time with mom, his daughters and grandchildren. We thank the Lord for giving him to us for as long as we had him … “we love you!” His legacy and spirit, will always continue through us, we will miss you, but will never be forgotten in our hearts. He is survived by his wife of 35yrs.: Frances G. Martinez; daughters: Krystal Martinez and Vanessa Sanchez (Luis); brothers, Alfredo Martinez Jr., Nino Martinez (Lisa), Felix Martinez (Maria) and Gerald Eureste (Kelly); sisters: Mary Alice Martinez, Margarita Martinez, and Frances Castilla (Jesse); grandchildren: John Dorantes, Paul Sanchez, and Isabella Sanchez;, and with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, co-workers and friends.
