Our beloved Josefina A. Gonzales, age 91, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Josefina was preceded in death by her parents: Augustine Sr & Consuelo Alonzo; brother: Albert Alonzo; sister: Maria Alonzo Reyes and companion of 30yrs: Jovencio Camacho. She is survived by her sons: Freddie Gonzales (Janie), Phillip Gonzales (Linda), Manuel Gonzales (Gloria) and Jesse Gonzales (Angie); daughters: Isabel Gonzales, Sylvia Gonzales and Bertha Gonzales; brother, Augustine Alonzo Jr.; sisters Sister Frances Alonzo, Margie Alvarez, Delia Mendoza, Gloria Castillo, Janie Alvarez, Mary Alice Garcia and Sally Deleon; grandchildren: Linda Gonzales-Castillo, Melissa Cadena, Daniel Gonzales, Jacob Gonzales, James Gonzales, Mark Ortiz, Erika Lynn Carrizales, Genevee Varela, Jesse Lee Gonzales, Jordan Gonzales and Thalia Gonzales; great grandchildren: 9; great, great grandchildren: 2; and with other family members and friends. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 624 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 18, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church .
