Our beloved Alejandro M. Torres Sr., age 75, resident of Martindale, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Alejandro was preceded in death by his parents: Enrique & Juana Torres; sister: Leonor Ybarra; and brother in law:: Filemon Hernandez. Alejandro was born on April 24, 1945, to Enrique and Juana Torres. After serving in the US Army, he married the love of his life, Carmen, on August. 23, 1970. They raised one son and three daughters. Alejandro loved work, tools, and boxing. His personality and smile meant he made friends everywhere he went. He was an active member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Martindale, Texas as well as a member of the Archicofradia He is survived by his wife of 50yrs.: Carmen M. Torres; son: Alejandro Torres Jr.; daughters: Christina Torres (Jonathon), Maria Torres and Jessica Torres; brothers: Henry Torres (Gloria), Salvador Torres (Carmen) and Robert Torres (Debbie); sister: Elida Hernandez; granddaughters: Isabella Liliana Reyes and Kailey Reyes; and with other family members and friends.
