Our beloved Cresencia “Chrissy” C. Pequeno, age 73, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, April 30, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Chrissy was preceded in death by her parents: Benito & Celestina Castilleja; brother: Anselmo Castilleja; nephew: Sam Castilleja and sister in law: Irma Castilleja. Cresencia “Chrissy” C. Pequeno was born in Fentress, Tx to Benito and Celestina Castilleja on June 20, 1947. She graduated from San Marcos HS and attended Southwest Texas State University. She married Macario Pequeno on Oct 12, 1968 in Martindale, Tx. She worked for CenturyTel for 32 years. She was also employed by Judge Margie Hernandez and later by Gary Job Corps. She is survived by her husband: Macario Pequeno; brother: Roy Castilleja (Henrietta): sisters: Elisa Dolin (Butch) and Rosie Contreras (Richard) and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.
