Obituary of Dario Cisneros
Please share a memory of Dario to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dario Cisneros, 55 years old, went home to Heaven on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Dario was raised in Kyle, Texas, the youngest of five children. He was a dedicated employee of 25 years at the University of Texas at Austin where he completed a trade skill program to acquire his plumbing license. After leaving UT he relocated to the Hill Country where he and his wife of 35 years, Lisa, enjoyed the slower pace of life and spending time with grandchildren.
Dario looked forward to sharing his talents and time by helping others and firmly believed that was an important part of life. He enjoyed cooking and barbequing and always made sure everyone had a plate and extra “samples” while he was cooking. Brisket and fajitas were his specialty! Dario also enjoyed helping others when they had home repair or plumbing needs and rarely declined opportunity to pitch in to get the job going.
Family was always very important to Dario and spending time together brought him joy, whether it was cooking for his adult children, filling the water balloons for the grandkids and joining them in water games, helping them fly kites, or just sitting all together on the back porch watching the stars. It made his heart happy to bring a smile to his family’s faces with little surprises or random thoughtful acts. Dario loved his parents and siblings very much and reminiscing about their childhood days over a few beers always made him laugh.
Dario is survived by his wife, Lisa, his children Dario Jr., Latisha, Christopher, and Michael, 6 grandchildren, Nevaeh, Marissa, Dominik, Gianna, Keturah, and Christopher Jr. “CJ”, his parents, Lydia and Dan, 4 siblings, Dan Jr., Mary, Dolores, and David, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. He loved and was loved by many. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Celebration of Life mass will be held at St. Anthony Marie Claret Catholic Church in Kyle, Texas on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 10:00 am. Celebration lunch to follow in the reception hall.
