Our beloved Blanca S. Rodriguez, age 61, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, October 25, 2021. Blanca was preceded in death by her parents: Florentino Sr. & Christina Sanchez; and brother: Florentino Sanchez Jr. Blanca recently retired in 2019 after 33 years of working for San Marcos school district as the cafeteria manager at Crockett Elementary. She absolutely enjoyed her days there. She shared wonderful relationships with her co-workers at Crockett and throughout the school district. She maintained her close friendships after retirement. She loved her time working with the children and had countless stories she would retell of the funny conversations she had with her students. Blanca was a long time active and faithful member of St. John’s Catholic Church. She was a member of the Guadalupanas and also a Eucharistic Minister. Blanca also took joy in assisting with Religious Education classes. Blanca will undoubtedly be remembered for her kindness, her willingness to help, her love for her family and her faith. Blanca will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 40yrs.: Jesse Rodriguez; daughters: Lori Miranda (Joseph) and Valarie Sanchez (Brian); son: Eric Rodriguez; brother: Gilbert Sanchez; sisters: Elvira Lopez and Rosa Maria Rodriguez;Blanca was the loving grandmother of Hailey Miranda, Isaiah Miranda, Joshua Miranda, Mia Miranda, Desiree Sanchez, Drew Rodriguez, Scarlett Sanchez, Selene Ava Sanchez.
