Our beloved Amanda Leean Salinas, age 27, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 19, 2021.
Amanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother: Rosario R. Reyes; paternal grandfather: Frank O. Salinas; paternal great grandmother: Josefa Reyes; paternal great grandfather: Luciano Reyes; maternal grandfather: Abraham R. Martinez; maternal great grandmother: Virginia Trejo; aunts: Susie O. Salinas, Irma Gutierrez, Angie Rodgers, Olga Reyes and Mary Acosta; uncles: Luciano Reyes Jr., Rodolfo Reyes and Eddie Martinez; cousins: Roberto Xavier Francisco Ramirez, Isaac Deleon, Magoo Reyes and Angel Reyes.
Amanda Leean Salinas was a caring mother, daughter, sister and friend. She left this world suddenly on November 19, 2021 at the age of 27.
She was born to Dora and Gilbert Salinas on December 16, 1993 after graduating and receiving her GED Amanda chased her dreams to become a dental assistant. Amanda was very intelligent. She loved reading and always wanted to be on top of things.
Amanda also had a little boy, Evin James Tanner. Evin is Amanda everything from the day he was born to eternity. They enjoyed every moment together until the very last, but he knows mommy will always be with him through everything.
Amanda loved spending time with family. She would always make jokes with her sisters and brother. They would always go back and forth make fun of each other. She always wanted to see them laugh. Amanda loved her mom and dad. She wanted to make them proud. As she always said we did it mom.
She is survived by her son: Evin James Tanner; parents: Gilbert & Dora Salinas; brother: Brandon Gilbert Salinas Jr. (Staci); sisters: Janie Marie Loredo (Noe), Hazel Nicole Salinas (Jim Alex Villalpando) and Ambry Tiffany Gonzales (Jeremy); nieces: Monica, Averii, Aariaha, Raelyn, Sirenity, Mireya, Mya, Noelia and Aubrie; nephews: Braycen, Brandon Jr., Jeremy Jr. and Zekiel; best friend: Olga Falcon; cousins: Diana Young & Mario Young; and with other family members and friends.
