Our beloved Angelita H. Delgado, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 28yrs.: Ysidro H. Delgado; parents: Jose & Elogia Hurtado; sister: Eva Yanez; and brothers: Armando Hurtado & Adan Hurtado. Angelita was born March 15, 1929 in Martindale, Texas to Jose & Elogia Hurtado. She was very active in various church groups. She was also a member of the Coro Mariachi, the Society of Archicofradia and the Church Bereavement Committee. She also was in various rosary groups and Cursillo groups. She is survived by her daughters: Rose Mary Cuevas (Bobby), Janie D. Cisneros (Sam Sr.), Gloria Delgado and Agnes Delgado; son: Juan Pablo Delgado Sr.; sister in laws: Ruth Delgado, Rosario Gaddy and Loudres Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Juan Pablo Delgado Jr. (Teresa), Samuel Delgado, Andrew Delgado, Marie Gonzales (Robert) and Gina Mata (Elias); great grandchildren: Carmen Delgado, Andrielle Delgado, Andrew Delgado, Damien Mata and Christian Gonzales; numerous nieces and nephews; and with other family members and friends. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 9:30 a.m.-10:00am, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church … 624 E. Hopkins St. … San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am, Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
