Our beloved Pete "Chilaco" Cardenas, age 63 resident of Kyle, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 3, 2022.
Pete was preceded in death by his daughter: Samantha Jane Rainwater parents: Jose & Bernada Cardenas; brothers: Augustine Cardenas, Paul Cardenas and Pete Cardenas; and sister: Josie Gonzales.
He is survived by his son: Pete Chaney; brothers: Jose Cardenas, Albert Cardenas and Johnny Cardenas; sisters: Juana Cardenas, Mary Torres and Mona Moncada; and with other family members and friends.
DUE TO COVID-19 ... CERTAIN RULES STILL APPLY … (MASK WILL BE ENFORCED!!) Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 10, 2022 with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas. Morning Visitation will begin at 8:00am followed with a Chapel Service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Los Angeles Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in Reedville, Texas.
