Our beloved Maria Del Refugio Gonzales, age 92, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Maria was preceded in death by her loving husband: Roque Gonzales; daughter: Mary Ann Gonzales: grandson: Frank Christopher Torres; great grandson: Augustine Sykes; parents: Eulogio & Mauricia Cortez; brothers: Ralph Cortez and Sortero Cortez; sisters: San Juana Rosas, Consuelo Alonzo, Lupe Cuevas and Carmen Miranda. She is survived by her daughters: Sylvia Vargas and Diane Quiroga (Mario); sons: Rudy Gonzales and Rocky Gonzales (Teresa); grandchildren: Xochitl Gonzales, Gina Gonzales, Rico Gonzales, David Gonzales, Gabriel Gonzales, Rudy Gonzales, Rocky Rios, Melissa Pastrano, Patricia Gomez, Jennifer Bass, Jessica Juarez, Adrian Vargas, Christopher Torres, Adriana Rangel, Priscilla Gonzales, Freedom Machado and Ivory Juarez; great grandchildren: 36; great, great grandchildren: 32; and with other family members and friends.
