Our beloved Gregorio "Greg" Mendoza, age 47, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Gregorio is preceded in death by his grandson: Elijah Mendoza; and maternal grandmother: Maria O, Mendoza. Anyone that knew Greg knew that he would always put family before anything and everything. Things like watching his Chicago Bears or going fishing or even his Sunday dinners, he could never do any of it without his whole family being together because it’s what made his heart happy. His hobbies ranged anywhere from gardening, where he would spend countless hours in the sun perfecting his front and back yard, to baking his many goodies that he always showed off to the world and had many people fall in love with them, to trying to become the next Pitmaster while staying up many nights getting his set up ready to BBQ for holidays, birthdays or just because he enjoyed it so much. Although, the one thing he loved the very most above all of this, was getting to see and spend time with his granddaughter as well as his grandpups whom he loved so much. His wife Irene was his life and the love he had her for her was beyond belief. There was never a doubt that he wouldn’t do anything for her and his life showed it. These and the many countless memories that we have came to made will forever be cherished in our minds and hearts. He is survived by his wife of 28yrs.: Irene Mendoza; sons: Jared Mendoza, Jacob Mendoza, Jaden Mendoza and Ysaac Evans; parents: Gregorio & Carmen Sanchez; brother: Jacob Sanchez (Carmen); Sister: Laurie Sanchez (Abe); granddaughter: Mila Mendoza: and with other family members and friends.
