Our beloved Janie Hernandez Vasquez, age 80, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
Janie is preceded in death by her parents: Rosalio and Carmen Vasquez; brothers: Mauricio Vasquez, Pablo Vasquez and Charlie Vasquez; sisters: Rafaela “Tita” Perez, Josephina “Chepa” Vasquez, Maria Velasquez, Senaida “Sandy” Vasquez and Matilde Valdez.
She is survived by her sister: Isidora “Chita” Vasquez Rocha; special niece Janie Vernengo (Bobby); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas. Wednesday Morning, May 25, 2022 visitation will began at 8:30am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church … 624 E. Hopkins St. … San Marcos, Texas. Recitation of Holy Rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00a.m
A bereavement meal will be held following the funeral mass at the claretian hall.
Serving as Pallbearers: Ernesto Rocha, Alex Vasquez, Martin Velasquez, Ramon Velasquez, Cruz Alan Aldaco and
Charlie Vasquez.
