Obituary of Lori Ann Brady

Our beloved Lori Ann Brady, age 51, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
Lori is preceded in death by her brother: Mario Rodriguez; maternal grandparents: Luis & Julia Flores.
Lori was born in San Marcos, Texas and raised in the country community of Redwood, Texas until the age of 10.
She was a 1989 graduate of San Marcos High School and an honors graduate of Southern Careers Institute in Austin, Texas where she received her certification as a Medical Assistant, then followed it up with being certified as a Medication Administrator which she worked for more than 10 years.
Lori enjoyed taking day trips and enjoyed long road trips out of state. One of her favorite destinations was visiting family in Saginaw, Michigan and having fun in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Reading romance novels, listening to all genres of music especially 80s music, traveling, Big Red sodas, Tex-Mex food, cooking with her daughter Maddison and hanging out with her family especially her cousins during the holidays were just a few of Lori's favorite things. Lori's laugh which was contagious and her smile will be missed.
Lori will always be remembered for her generosity as she was always willing to lend a helping hand, give some of her time, have a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen to and just be there for you.
She is survived by her husband of 18yrs: Billy Tristan; daughter: Maddison Lynn Tristan; mother: Dolores “Dee Dee” Rodriguez (Mario); brother: James Eric Rodriguez: nephew: Dillion Rodriguez from Glens Falls, New York. and with other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2022 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 9:00 a.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. … Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
Serving as Pallbearers: Manuel Duran Jr., Oscar Duran, Bobby Flores, Hector Teneyuque, Jeffrey Tristan and Billy Tristan.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers: May Bambie, Ramiro Teneyuque and Joe Castro.
