Our beloved Alberto Zapata Cardenas, age 75, resident of Kyle, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, June 13, 2022.
Alberto is preceded in death by his daughter: Maria Guadalupe Cardenas; parents: Jose & Bernarda Cardenas; brothers: Apolinar Cardenas, Augustin Cardenas and Pete Cardenas; sister: Josie Gonzales.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48yrs.: Concepcion Cardenas; daughter: Veronica Cardenas (Benjamin Gonzalez); brothers: Joe Cardenas and Johnny Cardenas; sisters: Janie Cardenas, Nicolasa Moncada and Mary Torres; grandchildren: Marissa Gonzalez and Benjamin Gonzalez; and with other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Los Angles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Morning Visitation will begin at 8:00am, Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Los Angeles Funeral Home … Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in Reedville, Texas.
