Our beloved Manuel Moreno, age 91, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 26, 2016.
Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Ortila R. Moreno; sons, John Manuel and Robert James Moreno; daughter, Jesusa “Susie” Moreno; parents, Melquiades and Ladislada Moreno; brothers, Ted Sr., Felix, and Daniel Sr. Moreno; sister, Consuelo Rodriguez.
He is survived by his daughters, Elvira Moreno, Hilda Garcia and husband Guadalupe, Helen Rayos and husband Larry; brothers, Joe & Jesus Moreno; sisters, Maria Hernandez, Angie Rivera, Lucia Miranda, Esperanza Moreno, and Alicia Romero; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and with numerous nieces & nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:30 p.m., Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 1, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 624 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, Texas. Burial will follow at San Marcos City Cemetery, San Marcos, Texas.
