Obituary of Anastacio Prado
Please share a memory of Anastacio to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather Anastacio (Tacho) Prado went home to our Lord on September 13, 2022.
Anastacio is preceded in death by his loving wife of 49yrs: Amparo Prado; parents: Santos & Ascension Prado; brothers: Ascension Prado, Nino Prado, Gilbert Prado, Pedro Prado Adolfo Prado and Roque Prado; sisters: Guadalupe Mendoza and Martha Perez.
Our dad retired from the City of San Marcos where he worked from 1967 to 1998. Our dad was a strong man with a big heart. We can only remember his generosity when it came to caring for our mom with whom he never left her side when she needed him the most. Our dad loved his western shows and of course his baseball team, the Houston Astros. Always with his famous words “where is my coffee?" and he was ready for game time. He enjoyed good food, being outdoors and was also a member of Sinai Pentecostal Church. He cherished his time with family the most. He was a selfless person who was always willing to lend a helping hand and always with a smile on his face.
He was a true servant of the Lord. He will be greatly missed, but his spirit will live on in us.
He is survived by his daughters: Lilia Rodriguez (Tim) and Leticia Reyes (Raymond); sister: Anastacia Perez; grandchildren: Angelica Gomez-Escobar, Elizabeth Gomez, Raymond Reyes Jr (Veronica), Matthew Gomez (Alyssa), Rebecca Reyes and Serena Reyes; great grandchildren: Christian Escobar, Juan Escobar Jr, Elizabeth Victoria Escobar, Julian Castillo, Joshua Castillo, Lexi Castillo, Genaveve Campos, Genesis Gomez and Giamara Gomez.
