Our beloved Louisa Vasquez, age 48, resident of San M, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesay, September 14, 2022. Louisa is preceded in death by her parents: Augustine Jr. & Fidelia Vasquez; son: Elias Vasquez; and brother: Augustine Vasquez III. Louisa lived in the greater San Marcos area during her time on Earth. She spent every waking moment involved with family and friends. Whether it was enjoying family dinners or backyard barbecues with friends and family or welcoming in the new grandchildren she was always ready to be Tia Yaya. The family events will not be filled with the laughter and jokes that Louisa would bring to each outing but instead talked about in a past tense as memories we would all love to live again. She is survived by her daughter: Celine Vasquez; sister: Gina Hernandez (Danny Rangel); brother: Edward Vasquez; special nieces: Jennifer Arredondo (Frankie) and Erica Hernandez (Rudy); special nephew: Jeremy Hernandez; and with other family members and friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2022 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church … 624 E. Hopkins … San Marcos, Texas. Morning Visitation will begin at 8:30am followed with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 a.m., October 5, 2022 at St. John Catholic Church.
