Our beloved Guadalupe Mercado Espinoza, age 57 of Buda, Texas born in Uhland, Texas on July 8, 1965 was called to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odon G. and Leonor Mercado and brother, Maximo Mercado. Guadalupe was a God loving woman and full of faith. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, shopping, taking trips to the beach and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 30 plus years, Reynaldo Espinoza; son, Rey Espinoza; daughter, Jennifer Espinoza, niece that she raised as her own, Ruby Arrellano, sisters, Helen Castilleja, Alicia Mondragon, Rosa Ramirez (Jesse), Oralia Mercado (Jorge) and Sylvia Hurtado, brothers, Benny Mercado and Mario Mercado (Rosemary) also with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 3:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Public services will end following her Celebration of Life.
