Our beloved Felix E. Gonzales Sr., age 73, resident of Kyle, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Felix is preceded in death by his parents: Calistro & Benita Gonzales; brother: Manuel Gonzales; sister: Ramona Salazar. Growing up in San Marcos, Texas Felix grew up in the farm lands of Redwood and Staples. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing as a kid. Always a hard worker with IBM in Austin for 25 years and always fixing additions or repairs at home he worked tirelessly each day. An avid football fan he loved Notre Dame Football and the Washington Redskins. He loved the days of Bart Starr, Johnny Unitas and Fran Tarkenton. Felix loved his Tejano music, his counrty gold and of course the Motown sound. He was a loving husband of 50 years to his wife Rachel a wonderful father to his children Felix Jr., Edward, Corinne and the best Popo any child could ask for to his Kaya Marie, Kassiah Grace and Mason. He is survived by his loving wife of 50yrs,: Mary Rachel Gonzales; sons: Felix Gonzales Jr. wife Diane and Edward Gonzales and wife Anna; daughter: Corinne Valdez and husband James; sisters: Julia Villarreal and husband Joe. Virginia Nieto and husband Emilo; brother: Johnny Gonzales partner Denise Ferguson; grandchildren: Kaya Sabana- Gonzales, Kassiah Grace Valdez and Mason Valdez; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
