Our beloved Cruz"Nuny" Minjarez Jr., age 66, resident of Dale, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Cruz (Nuny) Minjarez, Jr. was born in El Paso, Tx on July 2, 1957 to his father Cruz Minjarez, Sr. and his mother Delia Rodriguez. Nuny passed away on July 19th, 2023, in his home surrounded by family. Nuny was 66 years old, had many plans for retirement and enjoyed helping others. Unfortunately, his battle with esophageal cancer cut his vision short. Nuny loved dancing, whether it was at an event, or in the car and never failed to bring laughter to others. Despite the challenges related to his battle with cancer, he continued to be humble and somehow managed to continue to have a sense of humor. Nuny’s courage and silent strength will never be forgotten. We love you, dad, brother, uncle, son, and friend. You will forever be missed. Cruz is preceded in death by his father: Cruz Minjarez Sr.. He is survived by his sons: Emilio Minjarez and Cruz Minjarez; daughters: Bianca Minjarez. April Minjarez. Norma Minjarez and Leslie Minjarez; mother: Delia Minjarez; brothers: Oscar Minjarez. Felix Minjarez and Bobby Minjarez; sisters: Ruth Gutierrez, Christina Minjarez and Sylvia Minjarez; step-daughter: Cindy McBean grandchildren; 5; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
