Our beloved Jose Corona, age 83, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
Jose is preceded in death by his loving wife: Matilde Corona; son: Jose Fred Corona; and parents: Trinidad & Herminia Garcia.
He is survived by his daughters: Rosalva Corona. Mayola Olivarez (Rafael) and Elizabeth Perez; sons: Jose Luis Corona and Javier Corona; brother: Eugenio Corona; sisters: Juana Alcauter, Consuelo Sanchez, Enedina Alvarez and Estela Duran; grandchildren: 6; great grandchildren: 4; and with other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas … Morning Visitation will begin at 8:00am, Friday, October 13, 2023 at Los Angeles Funeral Home. ... followed with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. , at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church ... 426 E. Hopkins ... San Marcos, Texas ... Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
