Our beloved Pete C. "Petule" Serrano, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Pete is preceded in death by his son: Paul Serrano and parents: Simon Sr. & Delfina Serrano. He was born July 7, 1945 in Lockhart, TX to Simon Sr. and Delfina Serrano. He married the love of his life Alice on December 10, 1967, in Martindale, TX. He was a father to Paul, Elizabeth and Leticia. He loved his family and was the best father and grandfather. He worked in construction as a superintendent for many years. He also had a love for music and worked in the Tejano music industry. Pete lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures spending time with his grandchildren, cooking for his family and friends and going to casinos with his wife. He never met a stranger and always saw the good in everyone he met. He was a spiritual man and his family always left with a blessing from him. He is survived by his wife of 56yrs.: Alice G. Serrano; daughters: Leticia Freeman (Alan) and Elizabeth Garcia (Joshua); brothers: Simon Serrano Jr. (Irene) and Joe Serrano (Elvira); sister: Cleo Serrano; grandsons: Jeremiah Garcia, Andrew Garcia, Nicholas Serrano, Jordan Freeman and Devin Freeman; granddaughters: Jocelyn Garcia, Juliana Garcia, Illiana Serrano and Abigail Freeman; and with many nieces and nephews.
