Our beloved Maria Socorro Briceno, age 86, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Maria is preceded in death by her loving husband of 12yrs.: Jose Briceno; daughter: Tina Estrada; parents: Ramon & Primitiva Reyes and grandson: Joseph Angel Gallegos. A Loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, she lived a fulfilled life. She loved sewing, knitting, gardening and family gatherings. She will be greatly missed for her kindness and concern for others. She is survived by her sons: Ruben Briceno, Armando Briceno (Marie Saldana) and David Briceno (Rose); daughters: Mary Alice Gallegos, Margie Garcia and Janie Briceno; brothers: Richard Gomez, Felimon Gomez, Frank Gomez and Pablo Gomez; sister: Manuela Gutierrez; 16, grandchildren; 12, great grandchildren; and with other family members and friends.
