Our beloved Mary M. Hernandez, age 80, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
Mary is preceded in death by her loving parents: Jose Lino & Juana Hernandez; brother: Manuel Hernandez and wife Julia.
She is survived by her special nephews: Martin Gonzales (Yolanda), Manuel Gonzales (Lisa), Rolando Garcia (OIga), John Anthony Gonzales (Kristina), Elias Lucio (Michelle), Raul Lucio Jr., Jesse Lopez (Rosa), Francisco Lopez III (Rosalinda); special nieces: Mary Garcia, Gloria Lucio, Juanita Lopez (Joe Hernandez), Mary Alice Lopez (Jesse Miranda, Angie Natal (Jesse), Crystal Garcia, Becky Reveles and
Rachel Morfin; grand nephews: Mike Gonzales, Jordan Villarreal and Nicolas Gonzales; grand nieces: Destany Gonzales (Sabas Castillo), Christi Gonzales, Kayla Gonzales, Sophie Gonzales and Abigail Castillo; sister: Francisca H. Lopez; and with many other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas. Morning Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Los Angeles Funeral Home followed with Mass of Christian Burial beginning 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church … 624 E. Hopkins St. … San Marcos, Texas. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in Reedville, Texas.
Serving as Pallbearers: Angel Gonzales, Jordan Villarreal, Nicolas Gonzales, Sabas Castillo, Elias Lucio and John Gonzales.
