Our beloved Leon Martinez, age 68, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 15, 2024. Leon is preceded in death by his parents: Guadalupe & Francisca Martinez; brothers: Guadalupe Martinez Jr. and Jimmy Martinez. He is survived by his sons: Billy Martinez (Veronica) and Leon Martinez Jr. (Alysia); daughter: Rebecca Martinez (Justin); sister: Margie Cantu; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Visitation will begin from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2023 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral Home ... 300 Cheatham St. ... San Marcos, Texas. Morning visitation will begin at 8:00am Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Los Angeles Funeral Home. Followed with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church ... 80 S. Old Spanish Trail ... Uhland, Texas. Father Rafael Padilla will officiate. Interment will follow at San Miguel Cemetery in Uhland, Texas. Serving as Pall Bearers: Michael Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez III, James Miranda, Justin Morales, Fernando Ramon and Zachary Martinez.
