Our beloved Frances S. Alvarez, age 89, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Frances is preceded in death by her parents: Francisco & Zenona Sanchez; brothers: Valentin Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Benito Sanchez, Candelario Sanchez, Paulino Sanchez and Trinidad Sanchez; sister: Maria Sanchez. Frances had a heart of gold. She loved to be outside with her plants, had a passion for sewing, loved her morning coffee with crackers and was always true to her faith with god. She always made sure to pray every night for all of her family and any time you left her house she would be sure to pray for you. Frances loved all of her family. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be terribly missed by many. She is survived by her daughters: Frances Hernandez and Janie Avalos (Eduardo); sister in law: Matilde Sanchez; grandchildren: Charlie Calderon. Chris Calderon, Margo Calderon. John Paul Calderon, Veronica Calderon,. Michael Avalos and Jessica Avalos; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great, great granddaughter; and with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
